Thanks to all of you who came out to our recent movie discussion. About twenty people attended the ninety-minute discussion about Ron Maxwell’s movie GETTYSBURG. I really enjoyed listening to your comments and the opportunity to learn from all of you.
I went ahead and recorded my introductory remarks for those of you who were unable to attend.
Mark your calendars. Our first movie discussion of 2024 will take place on Sunday, January 14 at 7PM EST. We are going to discuss the movie RIDE WITH THE DEVIL, starring Tobey Maguire, Skeet Ulrich, Jewell, Jeffrey Wright and directed by Ang Lee. It’s a very different movie from GETTYSBURG and, in my mind, much better.
