I really enjoy and appreciate what I am learning about the Civil War era and the representation of it in books and videos. While pursuing my M.A. at Cleveland State, I tended to focus more on my primary area of interest - the late colonial period through the War of 1812. I have never really studied the Civil War era - both antebellum and Reconstruction except for what was covered in the American history survey courses (1970s through 1990). I appreciate all the insights and book recommendations.
I also enjoy your Grape and Canister reports, particularly when they include Otis updates! He deserves all the belly rubs he gets. He is quite the handsome fellow.
Kevin, Does the Olde Colony CWRT zoom their meetings? Or record for later viewing. A few have been doing that.
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Mike. I will look into it and let you know.

So glad to hear that you are enjoying this site. I think Otis needs his own social media page. :-)
Re what is now called "Presentism", didn't William Faulkner justify it way back in the last millenium?
Right. :-)
