Excellent conversation with Jonathan White. I read his book “Midnight in America” and loved it. I will have to check out his other titles. I’m surprised Otis did not make a cameo appearance during this.
I agree. It's a wonderful book. You really can't go wrong with any of Jon's books. Otis made a brief appearance at the very beginning, but decided that he needed a few more hours of sleep. What a life. :-)
On a topic unrelated to this. I just finished reading Robert Gould Shaw’s letters edited by Russell Duncan. So I am really looking forward to your biography of him when it comes out.
